Fun Over the Holidays

We love to leave freezing Utah and go to deliciously warm Arizona for the holidays. We cram as much as we can into what little time we always have. My family is always up to the challenge and they do not disappoint. Thanks for the good times you guys! ...Now back to the grind.

Have you heard of the iPhone App, Face Melter? Well, Alex has. She's pretty good at it too. Especially if you haven't showered and are not wearing any make-up... And I thought my self-esteem about my current state and appearance couldn't get any worse? This is hilarious!

What to do on the drive to AZ? Take pictures of the plunging temperatures, I guess. And keep Dave awake while he drives.

Santa 2009

Our wonderful friends, the Huishes, saved us from dragging to the Mall to see Santa this year. They know Santa personally and were able to arrange a visit for us and the rest of the neighborhood right before Christmas. We were so lucky! It went a little more smoothly than last year. . . at least for Avery. Here are some cute pics of the event. Thank you, Mike and Julie. We love you guys!

Our New Sunbeam

Avery graduated from the nursery and became a Sunbeam today. I'm so lucky I get to be in primary so I'm not busted when I want to spy. She was so cute to watch. She sat on the front row next to her friend Sarah and participated and was very reverent... Maybe a little too reverent. At one point I looked over and she was sound asleep in her teacher's arms. She's getting so big.
