Phil got married! Yeah! We went to Seattle this week to see Phil marry Jessie. We are so happy for them!
The day was perfect. . . all but the huge downpour at the outdoor reception! Everyone grabbed something and ran! It was hilarious. We spent some quality time in the kids fort while the rain came down. It was fun to spend time together. Welcome to the family, Jessie!
Dave surprised Phil with a matching beard. It was touching.
It was also nice to have a little alone time, if you know what I mean. Anyway, we did get in some site seeing and we ran into Mario Batali at Pikes Place Market, (for ALL you food network fans.) We also got some strawberries there that were so good I had to lay on the ground to eat them. Congratulations, Phil and Jessie! Thanks, Seattle, for such a good time!
